Habitat for Humanity
In the developing world, the average cost of all the materials and labor needed to build a typical Habitat for Humanity house is $1,825. For the price of a decent laptop, or a couple of monthly mortgage repayments, the lives of a family currently living in poverty housing can be changed – forever.

Habitat was founded with the sole aim of tackling poverty housing on a global scale. Habitat now serves low-income families somewhere around the world every 10 minutes through new house construction, major house rehabilitation projects and with house repairs. In 2007, Habitat served a record 49,000 families in need.

Since its founding  in 1976 , Habitat is working in 90 countries and has built 300,000 homes in partnership with people in need of safe, decent housing for over one and a half million people around the world.

Wine to Water
More people die from the lack of clean water than from all the guns and wars in the world combined. Many of the casualties are children under the age of 5. This organization is focused on providing clean water to needy people around the world. Nearly 1 billion people in the world today lack access to adequate water and 2.5 billion people lack access to improved sanitation. They are devoted to fighting this epidemic. Wine symbolizes fortune in our society. Our goal is to give the fortunate population an opportunity to fight for those who can't fight for themselves.
